Sifu / Guro Eric is a fourth generation Ip Man Wing Tsun Kung Fu Sifu and internationally accredited coach.. He grew up in Northeast Los Angeles in a neighborhood called Mount Washington. He was bullied at one Summer Camp and in Middle School. What was meant for evil, God used for good decades later.
He, like a lot of his contemporaries, was inspired to study martial arts after watching all of the Bruce Lee movies. He briefly studied Five Animals Kung Fu with Sifu Ark Wong and Sifu Carl Totton growing up.
He had a martial arts mid- life crisis after putting it down for 20 years after getting married. He was first exposed to Wing Chun Kung Fu when he was studying Bruce Lee’s Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do. He realized that this part of the curriculum resonated with him the most. He learned that it fit his personality and the way he moved.
He decided to take a deeper dive & started studying a form of Wing Chun Kung Fu called Wing Tsun Kung Fu.
In 2016, he started teaching Wing Tsun with an emphasis on footwork, structure, relaxation, sensitivity, and reflex training. His students say that he is adept at explaining, breaking things down, and making the complex simple. He invites you to read the reviews under "More."
Sifu / Guro Eric is part of an independent Wing Tsun association that has been influenced by the Hong Kong and German styles of Wing Tsun.
